Redlands Sporting Club Social Golf Members on the tee at Windaroo

Redlands Sporting Club Social Golf Members on the tee at Windaroo

After only a short break the Social Golf Club was back in action in early January. Our game that was scheduled for Wynnum in February was cancelled due to the condition of the course after the cyclonic rainfall. This was to be our qualifying game for the Match Play Trophy and has been rescheduled for Bribie Island on 22 March.  We have played our first Trophy game of the season.  It was a 2 Man Ambrose event at Windaroo which was won by Brad Udowika and Neil Pascoe with net 67.25
The Club is actively encouraging new members to join in the great social outlet. The club plays every fortnight on Sunday mornings around the metropolitan area with different games played each time. The games are always early in the morning with our presentations made back at the Sporting Club afterwards. There are always two bus trips planned for each year, with our trips for this year scheduled for Caloundra in April and Murwillumbah in August.
As within any sporting club there is also a competitive side. This is covered by our four Trophy Events, the Match Play Trophy and the Club Grade Championships. You do not need to have an AGU handicap to join the club.  Just come along and submit your first three game cards and the Club Captain will work out your handicap from there.
For more information about joining please contact Eddie on 0414 904 914 or email him on rscgolf@gmail.com
