The Redlands Cricket Inc representative teams in the Shane Watson and Ray Weier Competitions have performed well this season. Redlands won the Shane Watson Cup and were runners up in the Ray Weier competition. Congratulations to all coaches, managers, scorers and players for a wonderful season.
Numerous players from our Affiliate Clubs have recently represented the BEARS in the QJC competition held throughout the State. This is a great opportunity for our young players to show their talents and hopefully go on to play Premier Cricket with Redlands Tigers.
The Brisbane Premier Competition is about to break for the Christmas/New Year period. All Redlands teams have been competitive with First Grade in 2nd Position, Fifth Grade no 1 in 1st position and Sixth Grade no 1 also in 1st position.
Our Women’s 2nd Grade team have been performing well and are currently in second position.
Redlands is currently in fifth position on the Queensland Cricket Club Championship ladder. The Premier Cricket Competition now has a short break and games resume on Saturday, 6 January 2018.
James Peirson, Sam Heazlett and Marnus Labuschagne have been a part of the Qld Bulls team for this season. James captained the team for the last Shield game held in Townville. All three are now preparing to play with the Brisbane Heat in this year’s Big Bash League competition.

Our Senior Affiliate Clubs have enjoyed their new season thus far and from all reports have been performing well despite lacking some players in a couple of games. Fortunately Redlands Tigers has been able to help out on some occasions.
