We are seeking reliable and hard-working cooks for Back of House, Café. This position also involves front of house as Food & Beverage Attendant therefore the duties contained within the Barista/Café Attendant position description applies

Redlands Sporting Club has recently been renovated and is the home away from home our customers love to come to. We provide a varied range of Food & Beverage options to our members and guests. About the Role

In this role, you will also be required to undertake the following duties:

  • Work in the fast paced, high volume Cafe kitchen
  • Prepare, cook & serve a range of café meals in accordance with cooking guidelines & recipes
  • Food preparation as required
  • Focus on quality, consistency and presentation of meals
  • Responsible for strict stock control and food storage
  • Cleaning of all kitchenware, equipment and utensils
  • Demonstrate hygienic and safe work practices
  • Reduce wastage
  • Other duties as requested

About you
To be successful in this role you would need to possess the following:

  • Reliable and hardworking
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work nights, splits and weekends as required
  • A willingness to learn and undertake training when required
  • Time management and organisational skills
  • Be physically fit and able to meet the demands of the role

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a kitchen environment
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol Certification required
  • Responsible Service of Gambling Certification required
  • Hygiene for Food Handlers Certification required
  • Working rights in Australia
