With the new season approaching there are many successes to celebrate from the 2009-10 season.

Braiden Camm and Brooke Clarke qualified to compete at the 2010 Telstra Australian Championships with Braiden placing 3rd in the 200m backstroke, earning a place on the Australian team for the Oceania Championships in Samoa. Also swimming at national level were Luke Goldsworthy, Sean Goldsworthy, Jordan Klease, Nicholas Pedrazzini, Dean Picking, Justin Turnbull, Caitlin Ziviani and Jenna Ziviani who competed at the 2010 Australian Age Championships in Sydney.

Our younger members performed well with 37 swimmers gaining Junior Excellence Awards. These included James Cameron and Aliitasi Marshall who took out the club’s 2009-10 Aggregate Champion Awards that are based on consistency and improvement over the season. Club Head Coach, Nick Pedrazzini, was also honoured by the Australian Swimming Coaches and Teachers Association (ASCTA) recently by gaining an award in the 2009 Outstanding Coaching Achievement category.
