Several Redlands Swim Club members have capped a very successful 2007/08 season with selection in Swimming Queensland squads.
Ashley Callus, who will later this year compete at the Beijing Olympics, has been selected in the target squad which is the highest level. Butterflyer, Brooke Clark is one of only six swimmers selected in the Flippers youth squad while Caitlin Ziviani has been selected in the bronze squad.
Five swimmers, Jordan Klease, Wendy Knott, John Otton, Justin Turnbull and Jenna Ziviani, have been selected in the junior development squad.
These swimmers were all selected following their performances over the past season. The development program will provide the participants with an excellent opportunity to participate in activities which will educate and expose them to experiences that will enhance their progression in the sport.
It is anticipated that the swimmers will attend a series of training and information sessions during the coming season.
