Pipe Band News
Anzac Day 29 years ago was the initial public appearance for the band then known as the Redlands RSL Pipe Band and, amazingly, it is still performing. Countless people are responsible, in particular, inaugural pipers Ian Plaisted, who due to ill health is now an associate member, and Ian Williams, a playing member.

Our community perfomances have included a gig at Roma; a birthday and anniversary celebration; several aged care facilities; school fetes, commemorative services; Ormiston House and Cleveland Showgrounds. We also love to promote the music and customs of Scotland and Ireland through our functions known as Ceilidh’s. Mark your calendar for Saturday, October 30 at Cleveland for the fun celebration of a Celtic Halloween.

Book through Joy on 3207 0928 or Gail on 3286 5092. New members are welcome and tuition for the bagpipes and drums is available at the Redlands Bocce Club on Thursday evenings.
