Hello Members,

Welcome to the new edition of Club Scene. It was with great pride at the 2008 Clubs Queensland Awards night that, on behalf of the Club President Don Seccombe, we accepted the Hall of Fame award for Best General Sports Club, having won that title for the previous three consecutive years. In addition the award for Best Club Redevelopment over $1m was also won by your Club and the plaques hang proudly on display in the main lounge.

Exciting activities within many areas of the Club are opportunities not to be passed up and details of these promotions can be found on page seven. Bingo players continue to support our club on both Monday nights at 7:30pm and Wednesday mornings at 10:00am. Our gaming machines continue to reap rewards for many of our members with a number of large jackpots recently won by loyal members.
