Our Back 2 Tanga 2 Tournament was held on May 28-30 and run out of our property at Tangalooma on Moreton Island. The weather was not kind, with rain and big winds on the Friday and Saturday. However this did not deter the 21 teams and 73 anglers who braved the conditions. There were no billfish tagged but a good quantity of Tuna, Dolphin Fish, Wahoo, Snapper and Yellowtail King.

Pearl Perch and Sweet Lip were either captured or tagged and released. Despite the unfavourable weather, all who participated had a good time and especially enjoyed the five-piece band, The Stunned Mullets, who provided the entertainment on Saturday night.

Next year we hope to have our Back 2 Tanga 3 Tournament in March, so will keep all informed when the dates are known.
