RASDEG member Wendy Tidbold takes her gorgeous Andalusian, Leo, through his paces.
The Redlands and Southern District Equestrian Group (RASDEG), is an adult riding club with a specific focus on dressage. Dressage is an equestrian sport in which the horse and rider perform a test of specific movements in an arena. Horse and rider are judged on the horse’s obedience, acceptance of the rider’s aids, gaits, impulsion and the harmony between horse and rider.
RASDEG meets monthly at Wynnum Pony Club grounds in Bognor Rd, where members compete in graded dressage tests from Preparatory to Elementary levels. The club also holds Associate Days, where we compete against other clubs. The Annual Redlands Championships (EFA Associate Day) will be held on Sunday, July 11. This is RASDEG’s biggest fundraiser, where local and regional riders, judges and volunteers converge to enjoy a day of riding and fun competition! RASDEG welcomes spectators to this event.
