MORE BOWLERS REQUIRED. That's right, both the Men's and Ladies sections could do with more serious players as we head into the new season.
Pennants games are the perfect opportunity for playing at different venues, meeting bowlers, experiencing the competitive spirit, and enjoying the fellowship that lawn bowls is noted for.
However, for us to be compatible with neighbouring clubs, our bowlers must be prepared to spend more time either playing or practicing during this brief but exciting period.
Fortunately, we have gained several new bowlers who have taken to the game like 'ducks to water', and during the recent 'Poinciana Challenge' acquitted themselves well against more experienced bowlers, and most will be selected to play in the pennant teams.
