The State Bocce Federation Competition was held at Redlands Bocce Centre on March 20 and 21. The results of the competition were:
Women’s - 1st - B. Jones; 2nd - S. Fasullo; 3rd - L. Lamonaca.
Men’s - 1st - M. De Marco; 2nd - M. Mennilli; 3rd - G. Canetto; 4th - W. Talone.
Bocce Australia is poised to launch a new look Australian Bocce Championship that will transform the sport to a new international level. This event, to be known as The Australian Bocce Open, will be the foundation stone for a world-renowned annual tournament.
To qualify you must have competed in a State Bocce Federation endorsed competition in either your local club, region or state and have won the title of singles or double champion.
The men’s and women’s team played in Melbourne on June 11-14.
