At the AGM, Redlands Cricket Inc unfortunately lost an excellent secretary, Glenn Barker. He has worked tirelessly for cricket and was rewarded with a RCI Life Membership. Current player and new Assistant Secretary Dom Cassell was also awarded with a Life Membership for his service to Easts and RCI. In addition, fellow player Brendon Smith joined the committee as an Assistant Secretary.
Coach Blair Coplin had the players in pre season training as the 2009/10 season commenced on Saturday, 19 September. There are new changes to the structure with a mixture of one day, two days and twenty/20 games, all counting towards the premiership and Club championship points.
Redlands entered four teams in the Annual Warehouse Cricket Association eight-a-side carnival held at Marchant Park on Sunday, 8 August.
