The Bocce calendar is well under way with the recent popular Aldo Bandiera Cup a great success. The team of Barbara Jones, Luz Van Hemmen, and Angelo Parlato won the Perpetual Trophy, which was presented by Pia Bandiera. Second place went to Lilliana Lamonaca, Peter Cescon and Silvia Lanaro.
Recently the Bocce and Bowls Clubs came together for a mixture of the two sports. This was a hugely successful day enjoyed by all, with many asking that we make this a regular event.
Another contest recently played was the newly sponsored Fred De Campo Competition. Teams of triples from Redlands and Newmarket competed strongly with the Redlands team of Barbara Jones, Vittorio De Luca and Sarina Fasullo being victorious. We pass on our gratitude to Mr De Campo for his support and we look forward to next year's competition.
